Joyce B. Lohse
American Western Author and Journalist
Ride along with Colorado author Joyce B. Lohse, who combines a journalism background with genealogy skills and a passion for western history to find true stories from the past. Joyce Lohse accepted induction in Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame in 2008 representing Colorado’s Original First Lady, Eliza Routt. Lohse’s work is also included in symposia compilations published by the Pikes Peak Library District, and she has presented over 200 programs on Colorado’s Front Range. In her free time, she enjoys lurking in historic archives, museums and cemeteries in search of true pioneer stories and history.
